I just want to take a moment and say...
King Curly Martin was a big piece of my family long before my existence. His life and legacy represent a special place for me. I remember growing up Uncle was one of my fathers closest comrades. I spent countless hours watching the fellowship of my family with music, love and laughter. Our loss was felt not only greatly felt at home but also in the Jazz world entirely. King Curly has mentored a great number of people myself included he provided me guidance beyond measure. There is a great loss indeed with the passing of such a great man. Today, I am humbled to have known him and called him my family.
-Rest well Uncle-
To the houses that were more closely impacted;Jones, Martin, Perry, and Taylor, and to all of North O. You will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.
Until the Legend brings us all together again. Loyalty Over Deception. And so it is.
